The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional, with a proven track record in maintaining high conversion rates, and meticulous planning habits. You will be responsible for converting enquiries into sales, cultivating relationships with clients, and supporting the company's overall sales function. All enquiries are warm and inbound calls from people looking to invest in gold or silver.
As a maturing company enjoying sustained expansion, this role has the opportunity and flexibility to grow.
Responsibilities
- Convert enquiries into sales.
- Cultivate relationships with clients to cross-sell and up-sell products
- Maintain high standards of planning habits and sales administration
- Undertake administration that supports the company's sales function, including documenting trades.
- Write blogs and articles for the website and financial press.
- Source, explore, and secure intermediary arrangements with introducers to earn continuing commissions.
- Create distribution channels through IFA sales to enhance volume-based repetitive orders.
- Cultivate and develop business infrastructure through marketing, innovative ideas, and additional revenue-generating mechanisms.
- Grow the entire business in line with the company's goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Degree with a 2 : 1 class or higher, or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of successful sales experience
- Proven expertise in maintaining high conversion statistics
- Interest in current affairs and money markets
- Knowledgeable about global economics
- Fast and capable learner, with a drive for continuous improvement
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Gravitas required to captivate clients of all levels
- Strong numerical ability
- Strong written skills
- Have a ‘can do’ approach and is tenacious.
- Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to cope with changing priorities
- A team player who can work on their own initiative
- A confident communicator, both verbal and written
- Good time-management and planning skills
- A diligent approach to work with a keen eye for detail
Benefits
Package & Hours
- Monday to Friday, 9 am – 6 : 00 pm (1-hour lunch break)
- £35,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)
- Impressive uncapped commission structure with realistic first year OTE of £120,000
- Generous quarterly bonus
