Overview

Senior Service Designer Consultant (SC Eligible). Permanent role for a global digital consultancy, focusing on Cloud Adoption, Digital Architecture/Transformation & NextGen AI Solutions. Flexible working model with remote or hybrid options and ad hoc client site travel.

Location and Compensation

London, Manchester, or Glasgow area with remote work options; ad hoc client site travel. Salary up to £60,000 plus full benefits.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple digital transformation projects within Government, Finance, Retail and Energy sectors.
• Lead service design processes autonomously with minimal supervision; create service design artefacts such as current/future-state user journeys, personas, service concepts, service blueprints and other outputs.
• Design and facilitate workshops, design sprints, ideation sessions or similar client-ready activities.
• Break down complex problems quickly and tell a clear story to stakeholders.
• Collaborate in an agile (scrum) environment within cross-functional teams (e.g., user researchers, UX/UI designers, business analysts, product owners, delivery managers, developers).
• Presales experience would be advantageous, including bids, RFPs, demos and presentations.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for BPSS/SC Clearance.
• Proven experience in service design across the full process with autonomous delivery.
• Government experience with strong working knowledge of GDS frameworks and standards.
• Ability to create service design artefacts (current/future journeys, personas, blueprints, concepts, etc.).
• Experience facilitating workshops and workshops-driven collaboration; strong storytelling skills.
• Strong ability to address complex problems in fast-paced environments.
• Experience working in an agile environment with cross-functional teams.
