This is a hybrid position, with the flexibility to be based at any of our Irwin Mitchell offices across England.We’re looking for someone who can design, develop, and optimise ServiceNow solutions across Irwin Mitchell, leading platform configuration, custom development, and integration with enterprise systems to align with business goals and compliance standards.Please speak to a member of our Recruitment and Onboarding team for more information.ResponsibilitiesLeading the design, development, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM.Architecting scalable and secure ServiceNow implementations aligned with enterprise architecture.Building and managing REST and SOAP integrations with platforms like Azure, Dynamics 365, MS Teams, and Entra.Designing and maintaining CMDB structures and service catalogs to support enterprise-wide service delivery.Establishing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated testing and deployment.Collaborating with architects and security teams to ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO27001, and internal standards.Leading technical design sessions and code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.Monitoring platform performance and proactively identifying optimisation opportunities.Documenting configurations, customisations, and integrations for operational continuity.Translating business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.Driving automation and process efficiency across departments using ServiceNow capabilities.Supporting platform operations and participating in on-call support where applicable.Staying current with ServiceNow updates and evaluating emerging technologies for roadmap enhancements.QualificationsExtensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including scripting and custom app development.Proven success in delivering complex solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, CMDB, ACLs, and scoped applications.Experience with CI/CD practices, version control, and automated testing.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Application Developer (essential).Experience working in agile product teams and communicating with cross-functional stakeholders.A collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation.Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build strong relationships.Resilience and adaptability in a fast-changing technical environment.Benefits and well-being25 days holidays as standard plus bank holidays - You can ‘buy’ up to 35hrs of extra holiday too.Generous and flexible pension schemes.Volunteering days – Two days of volunteering every year for a cause of your choice (fully paid).Westfield Health membership, offering refunds on medical services alongside our Aviva Digital GP services.Well-being initiatives, Flexible by Choice hybrid-working options, and support for positive mental health.Onboarding and complianceAs part of the Irwin Mitchell Group’s onboarding process all successful applicants are required to complete the group’s employment screening process, including pre-employment screening to establish eligibility to work in the UK, and checks with trusted third parties.
