What You’ll Be Doing
Perform release planning and ensure it stays up to date throughout the release.
Manage and oversee multiple diverse functional teams and stakeholders on multiple projects, simultaneously, throughout the engineering lifecycle.
Create and manage software and system acceptance and delivery plans and the supporting documentation.
Make engineering decisions within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority.
Act as the point of contact with customers and/or suppliers in assigned areas on engineering matters to resolve relatively complex problems and to maintain awareness in both parties of priorities and objectives.
Perform budget management and provide end‑of‑month reporting for multiple projects.
Your Skills and Experiences
Understanding of system design specifications and technical documentation and ability to lead integration, performance, and system testing and acceptance and delivery management.
Ability to operate in a large, complex multi‑project environment with experience of configuration management, problem solving, and technical knowledge of the domain along with knowledge of Naval Combat System Products (desirable).
Flexibility in response to changes in tasking and priorities while able to communicate to management, peers, and other stakeholders.
A good understanding of LCM, engineering lifecycle and systems engineering methodologies and practices and tools.
Proficient in managing budget and performing end‑of‑month reporting.

As a Software Acceptance and Delivery Lead in the CDIG team, you will perform various engineering activities, including observations, configuration management, software release planning, budget management, target environment management, formal qualification and acceptance testing management, and stakeholder engagement and collaboration. You will lead and ensure the delivery of engineering work and services to external and internal customers for multiple platforms under the supervision of the CDIG Engineering Manager.
