Senior Software Engineer – Cox Automotive Europe

Location: Leeds or Manchester (2 days per week in the office).

Our Product Engineering team develops high-quality, scalable solutions that power the wholesale division across the UK and Europe.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be a key player in designing and delivering innovative software that drives real-world impact. You’ll work in a collaborative, agile environment alongside engineers, designers, and product managers.

  • Architect and build modern cloud-native applications using .NET, Azure, React, and more.
  • Champion clean code, scalable design, and continuous improvement.
  • Influence technical direction and challenge the status quo.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver solutions that delight users.
  • Own quality—from code to documentation to testing.
  • Cloud & DevOps: Azure, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines
  • Data & APIs: SQL Server, Entity Framework, RESTful APIs

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong Software Engineering background with hands-on experience of .NET, Azure, React, MS SQL and cloud compute.
  • Passion for building product-driven solutions in Agile environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • A natural focus on delivering value and designing for resilience.
  • A desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a wider technical community.
