The Role

You’ll report directly to the Head of Technology & Product and own the entire backend transformation. This is your chance to rebuild a critical national platform from the ground up, replacing legacy systems with a modern, scalable architecture that powers millions of customer interactions every year. You’ll lead a seamless migration with zero downtime, integrate cutting‑edge industry solutions, and deliver fast, reliable services that make storage simple, secure, and effortless for everyone. Working in tight 2‑week sprints with Product, Operations, and Security, you’ll ship features that don’t just keep the lights on; they drive real growth, delight customers, and shape the future of how the UK moves and protects what matters most.

Your Profile

• Deep expertise in Microsoft ecosystem: C#, .NET Core, MSSQL, Entity Framework
• Expert in WebAPI, MVC, REST; proven monolith → microservices migrations
• Strong stakeholder comms – fluent English, tech & non‑tech audiences
• 2.1+ Bachelor’s in CS/STEM or equivalent battle‑tested experience
