A leading global provider of broadcast technology is expanding its R&D team in Bracknell and is seeking an experienced C++ Software Engineer to help drive the next evolution of their flagship control system. This system plays a critical role in the production of major live sporting events and studio programming worldwide, offering customized workflows and seamless integration across SDI, IP, and hybrid infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Help modernise a well-established product and shape its future architecture.
• Work in agile teams using Scrum, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Contribute to a platform that controls complex signal routing and third-party devices.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of experience in C++ development
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, TCP/UDP
• Experience with tools like WireShark and Postman
• Proven work with large multithreaded codebases
• Windows development experience; Linux, Docker, or Kubernetes is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira, TeamCity, BitBucket)
