What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of major features and technical projects from idea to deployment
- Partner closely with product and leadership to shape roadmap priorities and delivery
- Improve system architecture, performance, and developer experience
- Lead by example through high‑quality, well‑tested code
- Mentor engineers, share knowledge, and elevate team standards
- Troubleshoot, debug, and drive improvements across the platform
Rails sits at the core of the stack, supported by modern tooling and best practices:
- Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Turbo, React components, GitHub Actions, Stripe, APIs, internal tooling
What They’re Looking For
- Proven experience building and scaling production Rails apps
- Deep understanding of Rails fundamentals and best practices
- Experience making architectural decisions and improving performance
- Strong testing mindset and appreciation for clean, maintainable code
- Great communicator and mentor who leads with empathy and clarity
- Comfortable across the full stack, from backend to UI
