Overview

We’re supporting a client in hiring a Senior Software Engineer who’s eager to make the step up into a Leadership role to guide a team of software engineers and play a key role in shaping their digital products and services. This role combines hands-on involvement in architecture, delivery, and mentoring as well as technical leadership. You’ll be helping the team deliver high-quality, scalable applications while also ensuring best practice in engineering standards and agile ways of working.

Senior .NET Engineer - London Hybrid (3 days WFH) - £80,000 plus package

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with stakeholders on priorities and delivery goals
• Leading and mentoring a cross-functional engineering team
• Promoting agile delivery, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
• Supporting technical discussions and architectural decisions

Required skills

• Message-based integration - Azure Service Bus
• Working with Azure Data Factory
• Experience with microservices and REST APIs
• Previous leadership of technical teams
• Knowledge of agile development practices (TDD/BDD)
• A collaborative, problem-solving approach
