Singular Photonics is pioneering Single-Photon Avalanche Diode (SPAD) sensor technology, powering advances in LiDAR, FLIM, spectroscopy, and more.

We’re looking for a Senior Developer to lead the development of our Software Development Kit (SDK) for SPAD sensors and cameras. You’ll build software that connects directly with our cutting-edge hardware, enabling applications from prototyping to production.

Tasks

What you’ll do

• Develop SDK functions & APIs for sensor control and data processing
• Integrate firmware and manage sensor data streams
• Create visualisation & analysis tools (FLIM, Raman, time-of-flight)
• Ensure cross-platform compatibility (Windows/Linux) and cloud integration

Requirements

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years in production software development
• Strong programming skills across frontend, backend & data processing
• Experience in sensor/hardware software & Git version control

Bonus: Knowledge of photon counting, LiDAR, FLIM, spectroscopy

Right to work in the UK is essential
