Hybrid - 3 days a week in Central London

We’re working with a well funded, high-growth fintech start-up that’s building the next generation of financial automation. They’re building an AI-powered, fully automated financial operating system and payment platform.

This is a chance to join early, shape the product, and work closely with the founding team as they expand in the UK and beyond.

About the Company

  • Fintech start-up disrupting a £15 trillion industry
  • Backed by the founders of Slack
  • Founded by serial founders with multiple exits under their belts
  • Founding engineering team of industry experts
  • Scaling fast with an ambitious roadmap (targeting US expansion next)
  • Building tech that transforms financial operations for customers at scale

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and deliver critical 3rd-party integrations with providers like GoCardless, Stripe, and ERPs
  • Partner with clients during highly technical onboarding, helping translate needs into solutions (strong comms required)
  • Build and scale core features (stack is currently .NET, AWS, with React on the front end)
  • Contribute to product direction, technical decisions, and future stack evolution
  • Collaborate directly with founders, product, and customers to solve real-world problems

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong backend engineering experience - C#, .Net Core, AWS or Azure
  • Proven experience building 3rd-party integrations (GoCardless, Stripe, or similar)
  • Clear, confident communication skills – able to engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Startup experience – thrive in ambiguity, iterate quickly, and wear multiple hats
  • Fintech/payments background - not essential but would be very useful
  • Front-end skills - this is a nice to have as we have a strong front end developer in the team (we use React)

Why Join?

  • Impact – Your work directly powers customer success and shapes the product
  • Growth – Be part of a scaling journey with global ambitions
  • Progression – career growth opportunities as the team continues to grow, and the chance to learn from some of the industry’s best engineers
  • Ownership – Work closely with leadership in a flat, agile team
  • Competitive package – £100k + equity + bonus

This isn’t a role for someone looking to coast. It’s for an engineer who loves solving technical challenges, enjoys working directly with customers, and wants to help build something big from the ground up.
