A full-time, hybrid role based in London for a Senior Software Engineer. You’ll play a key part in building and scaling a globally recognized platform in the fintech industry. The role will involve working with modern technologies like Rust, .NET, AWS, and Kubernetes, to develop reliable, distributed systems that support millions of API requests with high availability. You'll collaborate across teams, ensuring stability and scalability as the platform expands globally.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain platform services using Rust, .NET, and other technologies.
- Work with product managers and engineering teams to define and break down technical requirements.
- Implement design patterns and automate testing for faster iterations.
- Actively engage in incident response, ensuring quick recovery of platform services.
- Contribute to cross-team technical initiatives to improve overall engineering practices.
- Uphold company values, helping to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in distributed systems and backend technologies (Rust, .NET, Java, Go).
- Strong understanding of design patterns and best practices in microservice architecture.
- Familiarity with API design, testing, and observability tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes, etc.) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
