About the job

This position sells into high-value prospects and customers, with a key focus on growing business across EMEA, particularly the UK/I. The candidate will manage fast-growing customers in the region, concentrating on product cross-sell and upsell, revenue growth, and sourcing net-new opportunities within a defined set of accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing the fastest growing customers in the region.
  • Growing revenue and gross profit share of wallet within your key account list.
  • Opening doors to the purchase of Twilio’s products and services – including voice, messaging, email, contact centre, account security software.
  • Maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Create pricing proposals, negotiate terms and manage the contract process.
  • Selling solutions to a technical and business audience.
  • Building trust and mutual respect with technical customers and peers.
  • Thinking outside of the box with extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills to simplify complex contractual, technical, and financial details.
  • Balancing challenging priorities and handling multiple projects/deals at the same time.

Required:

  • 6+ years of Account Management/Sales experience selling and closing complex technical solutions to a large customer base.
  • History of working with accounts ranging from large multinational enterprise customers to SMB.
  • Demonstrated success by achieving quota consistently.
  • Track record of Account Management experience and ability to cross and upsell within a mature customer base.
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting within a direct customer base – revenue and gross profit tracking, risk and opportunity cadence.
  • Ideally, experience selling to both business and technical audiences.
  • Experience and understanding of the communications market is preferable (Messaging, Voice, Email, Account Security Verification) or prior experience in a traditional telecommunications environment.

Location & Travel

The position will be remotely based in the United Kingdom. Approximately 25% travel is anticipated to connect in-person with customers.
