Senior Technical Asset Manager (Powerplant) As the Senior Technical Asset Manager (Powerplant) you will provide clients with expert guidance and project management for the cost-effective management of aircraft and engine portfolios. Responsibilities include aircraft cost reviews for acquisitions and lease negotiations, routine lease and asset lifecycle management (including utilization oversight and maintenance reserve claims), and lease reviews or amendments. Additional support is provided in repossession scenarios and end-of-lease transitions. The role offers strategic advice on future placements or maximizing asset value, a hybrid working arrangement, ideally 2 days per week in the office (negotiable). This position also delivers engine technical expertise to clients and internal teams. Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Aircraft lease management for third-party owners, lessors, and investors Management of client aircraft: deliveries, redeliveries, purchases, terminations, EOL negotiations, maintenance scope reviews, reserve claims Advisory and negotiation support for lease amendments, restructurings, extensions, transitions, and claims Advisory services in default and repossession scenarios Provide technical support across departments and to clients Perform inspections of aircraft, engines, and stock Lead and manage complex asset management projects Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards Address discrepancies and incidents promptly and appropriately Contribute to a positive company culture Support business development by engaging new clients and expanding asset management services Represent the organization at industry conferences and events Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain new services and products Work with internal stakeholders and clients to meet shared objectives
Skills and Experience Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Aircraft Engineering, Aircraft Finance, or equivalent; licensed engineer also acceptable Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft leasing or CAMO environments Direct experience with engines or oversight of engine shop visits Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Familiarity with asset management software (e.g., Lease Works, Leasepoint) is a plus
