This is an exciting opportunity for a design professional who is passionate about creating inclusive, user-centred services and enjoys leading teams in complex problem-solving.As a Senior UX Designer, you will shape end-to-end services, champion user-centred design, and ensure accessibility and inclusivity are embedded throughout. You will also play a leadership role, mentoring colleagues and advising clients on best practice in UX design.ResponsibilitiesLead UX design activities within multi-disciplinary Agile teams, ensuring solutions meet user needs.Apply inclusive design approaches, ensuring accessibility and assisted digital needs are fully addressed.Collaborate with researchers, product managers, developers, and other Agile roles to create high-quality services.Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, managing complex discussions effectively.Provide line management and mentorship for UX designers, supporting professional development.Contribute to recruitment, knowledge sharing, events, and thought leadership activities.Promote the value of user-centred and service design both internally and externally.RequirementsAdvanced UX design skills, with proven experience in varied project environments.Strong track record of delivering people-centred services within Agile teams.Demonstrated ability to design for diverse users, including those with accessibility or assisted digital requirements.Experience mentoring, line managing, or training other UX designers.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to navigate challenges diplomatically.Solid understanding of other Agile roles across design, product, and technology.Consultancy and leadership skills, with confidence in exploring problem spaces and shaping solutions.Competitive salary of £57,000 – £64,000.Contributory pension scheme (employer 6%, employee 2%).25 days annual leave plus UK public holidays.Critical illness and life assurance cover.Perkbox discounts and wellbeing support.Volunteer days and financial wellbeing sessions.Cycle-to-work scheme and salary sacrifice electric vehicle scheme.Flexible benefits including private health cover, dental cover, additional pension contributions, extra holiday purchase, and wellbeing contributions.Relocation support of up to £8,000 (subject to conditions).Inclusion & DiversityOur client is committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
