We are looking for a Senior User Research Manager to lead a team of user researchers embedded across multiple product areas. You will drive insights that directly influence product strategy and design decisions, ensuring research has measurable impact by aligning with leadership on priorities, scaling processes, and mentoring researchers to grow their skills and autonomy.

Accountabilities

  • Manage a team of user researchers across multiple product verticals, ensuring their work aligns with business and user needs.
  • Partner with product and design leadership to shape product strategies and define high-impact research objectives.
  • Scale research impact across the organization by improving visibility, processes, and adoption of insights.
  • Support career growth and satisfaction of direct reports through coaching, mentorship, and development planning.
  • Lead research forums, knowledge‑sharing sessions, and initiatives that elevate team standards and performance.
  • Hire and onboard diverse, talented researchers and foster an inclusive and engaging team environment.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to integrate research insights into strategic and operational decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading user research teams in high‑growth technology or product organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple direct reports, supporting growth, autonomy, and performance.
  • Strong experience collaborating with Product, Design, Engineering, and Data teams to inform strategy.
  • Demonstrated skill in coaching, mentoring, and developing research talent.
  • Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Experience applying research insights to improve customer experiences, operational efficiency, and product outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to educate stakeholders on research value.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment with flexibility and resilience.
