Introduction to the role

As a Service Contract Manager, your focus is to secure new business from new and existing customers. The role involves supporting customers with their obsolescence challenges through managing Life Cycle Plans, Retrofit, Modification, and Revision work to support their evolving needs. You will also ensure that the service and support provided by Vanderlande meet customer expectations and evolve the contract accordingly.

You will support the Sales Manager in offering innovative Service solutions for new projects.

Role Responsibilities

The Parcel Service Contract Manager is a key part of Vanderlande's Sales team. Your job is to develop strong long-term relationships with existing customers and support their Service, Support, Upgrades, and Life Cycle requirements. Additionally, you will work alongside the Sales Manager on new projects to develop innovative service solutions during the BID phase.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Working as part of the APS UK Solutions team to ensure smooth department and business operations.
  2. Supporting the internal team and customers by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  3. Collaborating with the Parcel Sales Group Leader and Account Manager to produce an Account Plan for each customer.
  4. Identifying sales leads within customers and sharing these for new projects, as well as leading upgrade and enhancement opportunities.
  5. Managing the complete service delivery cycle.
  6. Evaluating customer requirements and ensuring proposed solutions meet these needs.
  7. Working closely with the UK Sales and Commercial Team to negotiate terms for project opportunities.
  8. Supporting the bid process and managing customer expectations.
