Role Overview: As a Service Design and Transition Manager, you will oversee the design and transition of new or modified services into operational environments, ensuring they meet business and user needs while adhering to governance frameworks.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading service design activities: defining roles, reviewing requirements, developing TCO, establishing SLAs, creating service design packages, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational capabilities, and validating service readiness.
- Managing service transition activities: overseeing end-to-end transition processes, ensuring smooth handovers, advising project managers, mitigating risks, managing RAID elements, coordinating acceptance processes, and supporting early life support.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision
- Strong ITIL knowledge, especially Service Design, Transition, and Operations
- Experience in IT project service design and transition
- Expertise in developing support models, SLAs, OLAs, and workflows
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Familiarity with project governance and RAID management
- Operational readiness and service assurance experience
- ITIL Foundation V4 and Service Design & Transition certifications
- Knowledge of IT project management methodologies
