About the Role

We\'re looking for an experienced SharePoint Administrator to join our team and take ownership of our SharePoint environments. You\'ll be the go-to person for administration, configuration, maintenance, and support - ensuring our SharePoint estate runs smoothly, securely, and efficiently. This role is business-critical, and you\'ll play a key part in driving collaboration, content management, and governance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain on-premises and/or SharePoint Online environments.
  • Manage site collections, libraries, workflows, permissions, and governance policies.
  • Monitor system performance, security, and availability - troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively.
  • Support upgrades, patching, and migrations where required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver SharePoint solutions that meet business needs.
  • Maintain documentation, best practices, and compliance with security standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator in a secure environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online, Office 365, and/or SharePoint 2016/2019.
  • Understanding of permissions, governance, and content management.
  • PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and wider M365 integration.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with SharePoint migrations (on-prem to cloud).
  • Knowledge of Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Exposure to Azure Active Directory and security controls.
