Do you hold a NEBOSH Construction certificate with practical and demonstrable construction and design experience?

We’re looking for an organised and experienced Site Health and Safety Inspector to join our Development team. We’ll act as health and safety (H&S) expert and provide support to the Development business and external construction stakeholders through visiting and engaging with contractors on site.

You’ll provide advice and training to internal stakeholders, particularly the delivery team, to enable them to support site teams more effectively and will be responsible for undertaking site inspections and monitoring the quality of third-party H&S inspections and standards on Development led and partner responsible sites.

Responsibilities

  • Act as health and safety (H&S) expert and provide support to the Development business and external construction stakeholders through visiting and engaging with contractors on site.
  • Provide advice and training to internal stakeholders to enable them to support site teams more effectively; undertake site inspections and monitor the quality of third-party H&S inspections and standards on Development led and partner sites.
  • Undertake site inspections and monitor compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and relevant legislation, standards and best practice.

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Construction certificate is essential for the role.
  • Practical and demonstrable experience of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
  • Experience working on-site with Principal Contractors and undertaking H&S inspections and audits to relevant standards.

Requirements

  • Willingness to travel nationally; frequent travel required; attendance at designated office base and occasional travel to other Clarion offices.
  • Hybrid role with base locations at London or Manchester; work from the office/site at least three days per week.
  • Eligible to work in the UK; Clarion cannot offer visa sponsorship. Reside in England or Wales for the duration of employment.
