Areti are excited to be partnering with a leading and award-winning software house in the search for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer.

• Full-Time/Permanent Employment.

We're looking for someone with strong expertise in Azure DevOps, Pulumi, Python, PowerShell, YAML pipelines, and Terraform.

You’ll play a vital role in automating infrastructure and deployments, as well as helping to monitor and improve client environments.

How Your Day Will Look:

• Maintain and improve management of the Azure cloud estate.
• Improve the ability to scale the BAU team through automation of manual tasks and delivery of self-service tooling.
• Improve observability through reporting and tool creation.
• Diagnose, triage, investigate, and manage escalated issues.
• Drive improvements to our incident management and reporting processes.
• Carry out daily and weekly estate management tasks such as deployments and other change requests.
• Support, mentor, and coach other members of the team.
• Be part of an out-of-hours on-call rota (approximately one week in six).

Ideal Technical Knowledge:

• Azure alerting and monitoring
• Python
• PowerShell
• Terraform

Experience Wanted:

• Able to clearly explain key principles of managing a large infrastructure estate.
• Strong understanding of monitoring infrastructure and hosted applications, with knowledge of observability, alerting, uptime SLAs, and SLOs.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• Experience guiding and mentoring junior team members.
