Overview

We are looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented software engineers who have experience building innovative, mission critical, high volume applications by integrating Bluetooth protocol stack software and other components on the Android and/or embedded platforms. The Amazon Connectivity team designs connectivity software solutions for Amazon devices encompassing wide range of products including Fire TV, Echo Show, Echo Dot, Smart home solutions, and much more.

This is a high visibility team where you will get a chance to make a positive impact on customer experience.

About the team

Amazon connectivity software solutions are deployed in the revolutionary consumer devices that have become the #1 best-selling Amazon products. They are among the most innovative and fastest growing businesses at both Amazon and the entire consumer electronics industry. We are looking for talented software engineers to join our team in building and integrating Bluetooth software stack on Android and other embedded platforms. This is an enormous opportunity to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of products used every day by people you know.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
