In this role, you will be part of a dynamic AppSec division dedicated to developing advanced application security and white-box cryptography solutions. You will work within a Scrum team to build technologies that protect applications, keys, and sensitive data across mobile, web, desktop, and server environments. Accountabilities
As a Software Engineer in Application Security, you will be responsible for:
- Developing application protection and cryptography solutions within a collaborative Scrum team.
- Contributing to features that secure applications, code, and data in untrusted environments.
- Working with C/C++ and Python to design and implement robust software security mechanisms.
- Investigating low-level application internals such as assembly, dex, and binary file formats.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of tools that prevent reverse engineering and data theft.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance performance, reliability, and security standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should bring:
- At least 2 years of experience developing software for mobile or desktop platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with C/C++ and Python.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of modern programming languages such as Kotlin, Swift, Go, or Rust.
- Interest in low-level programming and file structures.
- Exposure to security threats, mitigation strategies, or CTF-style problem solving.
- A proactive, curious mindset with a drive to understand systems at their core.
