As a Front-End or Full-Stack Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Transact Technology team, you will design, build, and support UI functionality for our integrated FX hedging and settlement platform. You will contribute to feature development, enhancements, and bug fixes, ensuring our codebase remains clean and testable. You will influence application architecture and development processes, and collaborate closely with global teams to deliver high-performance trading capabilities. Your work will help thousands of users manage cross-border exposure efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting

Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain robust algorithms

Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications

Gather, analyze, and develop visualizations and reporting from large data sets

Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive coding and system improvements

Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and technology events

Add to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and formal applied experience working with TypeScript and React

Proven ability to build high-performance desktop/web applications

Proficiency with modern frameworks, libraries, tools, and languages

Experience in test-driven development using source control and continuous integration

In-depth understanding of JavaScript

Hands‑on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability

Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security

Strong computer science foundations

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Familiarity with modern front‑end technologies

Exposure to cloud technologies
