Salary: Up to £85,000 + 15% bonus + enhanced pension (up to 11% employer contribution when you contribute 6%)

Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Redhill area office (commutable within 1 hour)

About the role

This is a key position within a high-performing engineering team building and maintaining cloud-native, microservices-led applications—including products that monitor AI/ML models in production.

You’ll play a crucial role as the embedded QA advocate within a cross-functional team, ensuring quality and risk awareness are central to every engineering decision. QA is deeply integrated into the development lifecycle here—not an afterthought.

You’ll take ownership of test automation and CI/CD processes, working across Python and C# services and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

About you

You’re a Senior QA Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating closely with developers, and building scalable, automated test solutions. You’re comfortable working in cloud-native environments, familiar with microservices, and enjoy driving quality through automation and process optimisation.

Experience with AI/ML-driven systems would be an advantage, but curiosity and a desire to learn in this space are just as valuable.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior QA Engineer in a modern software environment
  • Strong knowledge of Python and/or C# for backend and API testing
  • Experience with Cypress or Playwright for frontend automation
  • Hands-on experience building and managing test pipelines in CI/CD
  • Experience with PACT for contract testing
  • Solid understanding of the test pyramid and applying test approaches across unit, integration, and UI layers
  • Exposure to Azure environments and cloud-native systems is desirable
  • Interest or experience in AI/ML products is a plus
