Remote Multimedia Developer – Rust & GStreamer

We're working with a fast-growing, UK-based company at the forefront of IP and cloud-based broadcast software. With over 45 years of innovation, they power critical live video workflows for major global broadcasters and media brands, from sports and news to entertainment.

As part of their continued expansion, they’re looking for a Multimedia Developer to join a high-impact engineering team. You’ll be contributing to a cutting-edge platform designed for real-time video transport, processing, and monitoring, especially for live broadcast applications.

This role is fully remote and can accept candidates globally.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience with Rust in production environments


• Strong hands-on experience with GStreamer (building on or contributing to the framework)


• Familiarity with broadcast video standards (e.g., ST2038, CT708)


• Understanding of packet extraction, processing, interleaving, and low-level multimedia operations

You’ll be writing production-grade code for a complex, performance-sensitive system. The team values independence, precision, and technical depth, but also supports close collaboration where it counts.
