Job Overview Lab Support Team member L2/L3 Support on lab instrument PCs and applications/software linked to the instrument. Activities performed under this role:
Incident resolution (troubleshooting, physical check of instrument PCs, network issue, licenses configuration, data flow and data storage issues…) User Administration (User creation, access, check on validity of user accounts, in both Active Directory and Applications) Installation (coordination with vendor, interaction with remote teams, configuration of the PC with the different applications…) Consulting (advice different teams on SOPs, best practices, current state of the art regarding computerized systems) Periodic reviews and maintenance (support client instrument owner, ensure maintenance plan is in place and followed, support firmware updates, reviewing audit trails, supporting vendor technicians…) The person must come from IT Departments from Pharma or/and Biotech industries and should have ITIL knowledge (Incident/Change/Knowledge/Problem Management). Activity must be performed on the client’s site, no remote working. Working on regulated environment (GxP based).
Software Engineering Responsibilities Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.
Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems. Responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance. Exercise original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. Builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities. Collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
