Our aim today, as it always has been, is to provide forward-thinking HR and Payroll solutions backed by amazing support and a collaborative culture that helps our people and business thrive.About The RoleWe're looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join the development team for our SaaS HR and Payroll platform.Our primary tech stack is .NET/C# for the backend, Angular/TypeScript for the frontend, SQL Server and PostgreSQL for our relational databases, and Terraform for our infrastructure as code.Our platform is hosted on a wide range of Amazon Web Services including EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, DynamoDB and SQS.We also use Amazon Bedrock to build cutting edge generative AI applications, SwiftUI for our native iOS apps and Jetpack Compose for our native Android apps.Experience with these technologies would be valuable, but we are open to applications from candidates with experience in a broad range of similar web technologies.What you'll doCollaborate closely with Team Leads, Product Managers, UX Designers and other Software Engineers to design, develop, test and deploy high-quality features and enhancements to our HR and Payroll platformEnsure bugs are identified, analysed and resolved pragmatically in a timely manner during the development and QA of features.Maintain and upgrade existing features and components to ensure our platform remains reliable and performant at scaleMentor and provide constructive feedback to peers through pairing and code reviewsPerform technical analysis on technologies, domains or issues to drive the decision‑making process within your teamSkills And Experience Valued In The Role2+ years' experience building and maintaining large web applications at scaleExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsWrites efficient, maintainable and well‑tested codeProven track record of contributing to significant technical projectsCommunicates effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues alikeConfident working with new technologies and in unfamiliar functional areasComfortable working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a remote/hybrid environmentEnjoys learning and sharing their knowledge with colleaguesPerks of working with us28 days annual leave + bank holidaysA day off for your birthday£250 working from home budgetHealth Insurance, Life Assurance, and Income ProtectionEmployee assistance programBuy and sell annual leaveA culture built on flexibility and trustRegular social events, remotely and in person #J-18808-Ljbffr
