We’re hiring a hands-on Engineering Manager to manage a team of 5 Software Engineers. The role is also responsible for coding most days.

The company has 100 headcount and a flat hierarchy. You will report directly to the VP Engineering.

Role

• Lead and inspire a team of engineers
• Establishing project goals and timelines working
• Collaborate closely with the VP Eng and VP Product.
• Implementing technical standards
• Integrating new AI technologies
• Overseeing quality assurance
• Conducting performance reviews

Experience

• Current technical leadership for Full Stack Engineers, you could be someone who has recently moved into a management role.
• You will still be coding most days - TypeScript, Next JS, React, NestJS
• Recent experience with AI/ML gAI/LLM enablement
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Significant experience building scalable systems within a fast moving scaleup environment
• Experience leading technology projects and initiatives with a focus on delivering results.
• Prior experience in a Startup, Scaleup would be advantageous
• A Computer Science or related degree
