Job Title: Software Engineering Team Leader (Saas)

Location: Commutable to Witney (OX28)

Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience + benefits

Overview: The team leader will write high-quality code and manage a small team of developers, providing technical leadership to enable the team to grow, while being hands-on across the full product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of software developers and support their growth and development.
• Write high-quality code and conduct peer-to-peer code reviews.
• Contribute to and follow coding standards, architectural guidelines and structure.
• Collaborate with your manager and peers to help define how we build software, scale our systems, and evolve our engineering culture.

Qualifications

To be considered, demonstrate competence in the majority of the following technologies:

• Ability to work with and manage a small team of developers.
• Solid understanding of the SaaS development model in the online environment.
• RESTful API design and implementation
• CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc)
• Developing commercial web applications with server stack and thick client architecture.
• Scalable systems design and development.
• Twitter Bootstrap theming/styling (or equivalent).
• Mobile apps development in a commercial environment; iOS and Android.
• Usage of distributed source control systems and work management.
• Working in a full software development lifecycle environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies as part of available learning and development.
