Job Title: Solar Design Engineer (O&M Projects)
Location: Remote (UK Wide)
Salary: £65,000 DOE

Piper Maddox are working with a renewable energy giant who boast a pipeline of 25GW+ across wind, solar, BESS and more. My client is committed to building a more resilient energy future.

They are looking to make a key Solar Design Engineer hire where you'll play a vital role in enhancing and upgrading solar and storage systems across Northern Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the technical design process on solar repowering, electrical defect resolution, and system analysis
* Provide expertise throughout project stages-from feasibility to commissioning
* Deliver remote and on-site technical support to operational teams
* Design and review critical project documentation and technical drawings
* Collaborate across departments and regions to share knowledge and elevate standards
* Support safety, compliance, and quality improvements through intelligent design solutions

Key Skills Required:
* Strong command of solar PV systems, HV operations, and design standards
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and PVSyst
* Experience in managing design-level approvals and CDM Principal Designer duties
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
