An opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and skilled Solicitor to join a leading national team specialising in abuse and exploitation claims. This growing department represents survivors of child sexual exploitation (CSE), grooming, and institutional abuse, providing a voice to those seeking justice.
You’ll manage a varied caseload, supporting clients through often complex and sensitive matters from start to finish. The role is ideally suited to someone with a genuine passion for advocacy and client care, who thrives in a values-driven environment.
The firm offers flexible working arrangements, including hybrid or remote options, with regular in-person collaboration encouraged to support team cohesion and client engagement.
The Role
- Handle a caseload of civil abuse and exploitation claims, from instruction through to resolution
- Conduct thorough case investigations, gathering evidence, reviewing records, and engaging with experts
- Provide clear, empathetic legal advice and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout their case
- Collaborate with external professionals and agencies to strengthen cases and support clients holistically
- Attend meetings, conferences, and negotiations, ensuring all key developments are accurately recorded
- Maintain compliance with professional standards and internal processes, including financial management and reporting
- Contribute to departmental knowledge sharing and training initiatives
About You

Key skills and experience include:
- Previous experience in abuse claims, personal injury, or human rights litigation (desirable)
- Strong understanding of civil litigation processes
- Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to manage sensitive conversations
- Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail when reviewing complex documentation
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment
- Genuine empathy, resilience, and professionalism when supporting vulnerable clients
