Join Irwin Mitchell as a Solicitor/Associate specialising in Medical Negligence. Your work will support clients through complex legal challenges and help secure the compensation they deserve.

Location

Based in one of our Southern or Welsh offices: Bristol, Southampton, Cambridge or Cardiff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload, including litigated matters, delivering high‑quality outcomes for clients.
  • Assist senior colleagues on high‑value and complex claims across a wide range of medical disciplines.
  • Provide accurate and compassionate legal advice so clients feel supported throughout their journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver a seamless, high‑quality service.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years PQE in Clinical Negligence with strong claimant work experience.
  • Proven ability to manage your own caseload of litigated claims.
  • Ability to take client instructions and give sound legal advice.
  • Experience assisting seniors across high‑value complex cases.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver the best outcomes for clients.
