Join us to create unforgettable journeys together. **The role** As the Solution Architect at Audley Travel, you will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise level robust, scalable solutions for our internal business applications. Your role will ensure that our internal systems are efficient, integrated, and aligned with our business objectives. You will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to create optimal solution designs, enhancing operational efficiency and internal user satisfaction. Key responsibilities include: * Solution Design: Develop high-level application and integration solution designs for internal business applications. Collaborating with internal and external design, development and engineering teams.* Integration: Ensure seamless integration of various internal applications to support business operations and process.* Design Reviews: Conduct regular design review sessions within projects to ensure Technical / low-level design and delivery align with solution designs.* Architectural Policies: Contribute to and adopt architectural policies, patterns, and standards.* Catalog Maintenance: Maintain Architecture Building Blocks and catalogs related to applications and integrations.* Collaboration: Work with business data and information security specialists to incorporate all domains and technical aspects into application designs and roadmaps.* Risk Management: Identify and raise appropriate risks, maintain a technical debt register, and ensure regular reviews by the Technical Design Authority (TDA).* Vendor Management: Assist with technical due diligence for new technology contracts and review existing supplier offerings to align with Audley's strategic roadmaps.* Proven experience in cloud-first application architecture and solution design.
