Responsibilities

• As the Programme Solution Architect (SA) you will provide technical leadership and Solution Architecture services across all delivery aspects of the programme. The role covers six key areas:
• Provide solution oversight and assurance for the programme. Own and maintain all High-Level Design artefacts and associated client-facing architecture and design materials. Function as solution lead for all Change Requests raised by the customer. Maintain the technical strategy and roadmap for the programme. Work with the programme leadership including the Programme Manager, Chief Engineer, Service and Security Leads to ensure the successful execution of the programme.
• Develop and maintain a “trusted advisor” relationship with the customer technical, programme and end-user leadership to ensure shared objectives are aligned and sustained.
• Influences development of solutions that impact programme goals and results. Recommends and develops new technical solutions, products, and/or approaches in support of the programme scope and operation. Leads and manages work of other technical staff where it has significant impact on solution and technical deliverables. Resolves highly complex problems using significant application of technical knowledge, conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation. Develops solutions that are innovative and achieved through research and integration of best practices. Communicates with executive leadership (internally or client) regarding matters of significant importance to the programme. Works to convince others to accept and agree new concepts, solutions and approaches to the benefit of programme delivery. Has in-depth understanding of technical principles, theories, concepts and their application across a range of contexts and scenarios. Serves as a subject matter expert within relevant technical domain areas.
