Solutions Architect – Enterprise Applications & Cloud Transformation

Fruition Group is partnering with a leading financial services global organisation that is investing heavily in digital and cloud transformation. They are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Solutions Architect to join our growing Enterprise Architecture function.

This role is pivotal, working at the forefront of large-scale programmes that span digital innovation, cloud adoption, greenfield development, and application re‑engineering. You will be the bridge between business requirements and technical design, shaping solutions that are scalable, integrated, and future‑ready.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of enterprise‑scale solutions across digital, cloud, and application landscapes.
• Translate complex business needs into robust, well‑documented architectures.
• Collaborate with global, cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment on technical vision.
• Shape architectures for greenfield builds, application modernisation, and large‑scale integration projects.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance on systems design and architectural best practice.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Solution Architect with strong expertise in applications, software engineering, microservices, APIs, BPM, and cloud.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Strong grounding in design patterns and modelling (UML, BPMN; exposure to ArchiMate/BizzDesign a plus).
• Experience delivering complex, large‑scale IT solutions through the full development lifecycle.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills – able to bring clarity to technical complexity.
• A creative problem‑solver with the confidence to challenge, innovate, and continually improve.
• Effective at prioritising, managing deadlines, and driving delivery of high‑quality outputs.
