About the Role
The Solutions Architect is a key position in the global Scitara customer team, providing leadership in uncovering customer needs and proposing solutions for our lab customers and partners. This highly visible role will not only utilize your expertise in laboratory and information technology, but also your skills in organizing, focusing, and transferring confidence to potential and existing customers, in collaboration with Scitara’s sales, product, engineering, services, and marketing teams.

You are passionate about solving the legacy problem of siloed laboratory technology and are keen to express this by teaming with Scitara sales and partner management personnel with your technical knowledge and consulting advice to transfer confidence in the capabilities of Scitara’s DLX technology. In addition, you possess leadership competencies (managing through process, working effectively cross functionally) and are motivated by helping others. To be successful, you must demonstrate professionalism, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, an organized execution of customer driven activities, and an ability to gain trust through your subject matter expertise and leadership style.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
- Work directly and indirectly with the Sales teams supporting functional and technical requirements for customers and partners.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Scitara’s products and their applicability to the integration of Scientific data
- Architect, maintain and deliver meaningful demonstration capabilities across Scitara’s products, including new AI agent capabilities.
- Key member or trusted advisor in a Pursuit Team for customers requiring a Pilot/Proof of Concept
- Develop, maintain and educate customers with knowledge of competitive alternatives
- Review or support Statements of Work to ensure the alignment of customer needs with Scitara work plans.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align customer feedback with product roadmap development.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education
- 10+ years’ experience in a customer-facing role in the laboratory technology industry understanding R&D and QC lab processes and data flows with experience in LIMS, E-Notebooks and Chromatography Data Systems
- Leadership experience in Managing through Process and demonstrated Cross functional success.
- Understanding of life sciences technology validation processes and deliverables.
- Proficient presenting/demonstrating technology solutions to scientific and technology leaders and managers.
- Excellent communication, listening, presentation, and writing skills
- Broad knowledge of, and interest in, current business challenges, products, and sales practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Highly self-motivated and self-directed personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, results-oriented culture
- Proficiency in AWS and Networking technologies
- Experience working with a CRM system (Salesforce, Hubspot, , etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a scientific or computer science discipline
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs dictate.
