A leading insurer is seeking a Solution Architect to design and deliver solutions across cloud and digital transformation initiatives. This role combines technical expertise with strategic leadership, ensuring architectures are secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

You’ll lead design efforts, define technical standards, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver modern, cloud-native solutions that drive innovation and efficiency across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document end-to-end architecture for large-scale digital and cloud programmes.
• Lead and govern technical delivery to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• Collaborate with engineers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to validate and deliver solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to architectural standards and best practices.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect within enterprise or cloud transformation projects.
• Deep knowledge of Azure, APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.
• Strong grasp of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and modelling (UML, BPMN, ArchiMate).
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and security architecture.
• Relevant degree and cloud/architecture certifications (e.g. Azure Architect Expert, TOGAF).
