A look into the role

  • Develop and implement architectural strategies, governance, plans, and procedures to ensure high‑quality software delivery.
  • Design and manage all solution architecture activities, including functional, non‑functional, and integration aspects.
  • Provide guidance and support to a team of developers.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams and Product Owners to coordinate solution delivery.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation related to architectural activities.
  • Ensure alignment of architectural activities with other lifecycle phases such as requirements analysis, design, and implementation.
  • Participate in daily progress meetings, presenting architectural improvements and developments.
  • Manage tools development and configuration management activities.

Knowing you’re right for us

As a Digital Audit Solutions Architect, the minimum criteria is that you are an experienced architect ready to move from an individual contributor to a team‑supporting role, or you already have experience leading architectural teams to ensure quality across the development or product lifecycle. It would be great if you had the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box – we’ll help you develop along the way.

  • Knowledge of low‑code platforms (e.g., PowerApps, Appian) and Python programming.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design techniques and best practices.
  • Experience in solution planning, analysis, design, and implementation.
  • Familiarity with integration tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
