As a Solutions Engineer, you will act as a technical advisor throughout the sales process, guiding clients from initial discussions to final deployment. You will help organizations understand and integrate complex software solutions into their IT environments, addressing architecture, security, and operational considerations. This role blends technical expertise with customer engagement, providing opportunities to conduct demos, lead proof-of-concepts, and shape scalable solutions. You will work closely with sales, product, and implementation teams, translating client requirements into actionable insights while driving adoption of innovative tools. The position offers exposure to diverse IT landscapes, cross-functional collaboration, and a chance to influence product strategy while working in a fast-growing, dynamic environment. Fluency in both German and English is required.

Accountabilities

  • Support sales teams throughout the sales cycle, from technical deep dives to customized solution designs
  • Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations for IT experts and decision-makers
  • Design and lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs), respond to security reviews, and manage complex requests such as RFPs and RFIs
  • Translate customer requirements into clear, actionable guidance for product and implementation teams
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on integration, architecture, and security topics
  • Collaborate with the team to establish best practices and enhance the technical sales playbook
  • Represent the company externally in client meetings, CIO calls, workshops, and industry events

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Presales, or Value Consulting, preferably in B2B SaaS or consulting environments
  • Strong expertise in Enterprise IT architectures, Identity Management (SSO, SCIM, AD, etc.), data integration, and security requirements
  • Ability to navigate technical discussions with IT, security, and C-Level stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical content to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Customer-focused and solution-oriented, able to translate needs into actionable solutions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing, scale-up environment and contributing to process design
  • Open to travel as required and fluent in German and English
