We’re hiring our first Solutions Engineer to partner closely with AEs — leading technical discovery, designing tailored solutions, and building proofs of concept.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with AEs to lead technical discovery, scoping, and product walkthroughs.
- Design and demo tailored proof‑of‑concepts for complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
- Document technical decisions and integration requirements, collaborating with Product and Implementation.
- Speak confidently about implementation process and help scope Statements of Work.
- Collaborate with Product and Integrations to identify feature gaps and scope enhancements.
- Unblock reps, train on new features, and build reusable enablement tools.
- Support marketing with technical insights and use cases.
- Help define how Solutions Engineering scales—setting workflows, guardrails, and playbooks.
- Travel frequently to support strategic deals.
About You
- Enterprise pre‑sales expert supporting complex SaaS deals (1,000+ employee customers).
- Technically curious—dive into docs, APIs, and data; strong relational database and systems architecture knowledge.
- Integration‑savvy—scope bi‑directional integrations from public docs and customer input.
- Confident, concise communicator—sell solutions to execs and present PoCs without fluff.
- Fast‑moving, accountable, and self‑directed—document and create clarity when others see chaos.
- Commercially aware—understand how technical recommendations influence deal velocity and outcomes.
- Calm under pressure, high EQ, and a fast learner.
Remote & Travel
This is a remote role based in the US (East Coast or Central time preferred) or the UK, with occasional transatlantic travel.
You’ll regularly adjust your schedule to collaborate across time zones—our team is spread across the UK and US.
Travel regularly (typically 1–6 times/month) to support strategic deals.
