Specification Development Manager – Exclusive to Zitko

The OpportunityZitko is working exclusively with Commend UK, a multi-award-winning, innovation-led business revolutionising secure communication technology. Commend solutions are trusted in critical infrastructure projects worldwide, and now they’re expanding their specification team to keep pace with demand.

We’re hiring a Specification Development Manager to build long-term relationships with key consultants, architects, and specifiers — guiding them to design Commend’s solutions into their projects from the earliest stage. If you're ready to influence the industry at the highest level, this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Driving product specifications through early engagement with consultants and architects

Delivering CPDs, technical presentations, and representing Commend at industry events

Building strategic, long-term relationships across the consultancy and design ecosystem

Identifying new project opportunities and feeding back technical insights

Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams for seamless hand-overs

What You Bring

Experience in technical sales/specification (ideally in security, tech, or built environment)

Confidence presenting to both individuals and larger audiences

A consultative, professional approach and strong interpersonal skills

Knowledge of the specification process and an interest in innovative technologies
