Remuneration: £45,000-£50,000 Neg. + £8,000 Bonus

The role of the Specification Sales Manager Interiors will involve:

• Field sales position selling our clients manufactured range of commercial vinyl and non-woven contract wall coverings.
• Targeting architects, interior designers, and other specifiers, primarily in hospitality and commercial sectors.
• Focusing on new business development, with contacts within London architects being advantageous.
• Handling projects typically from £20,000 to £200,000.
• Traveling approximately 4 days per week, with one day for admin or working from home.
• Spending some time at the client’s factory or head office, both based in the home counties.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Specification field sales experience within architects in London, ideally within the hospitality sector.
• Experience with interior designers and other specifiers is beneficial.
• Background in interior products such as flooring, tiles, sanitaryware, wall coverings, soft furnishings, furniture, or lighting.
• At least 5 years of field sales experience in a similar role.
• Contacts within architectural practices in London are advantageous.
• Strong commercial sales skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• High energy levels, autonomous work ethic, and excellent territory planning skills.
• Computer literacy, good numeracy and literacy skills, and a solid educational background.
• An interior or aesthetically related sales background is preferred, such as wall coverings, ceramics, ceilings, lighting, or soft furnishings.
• Bright, bubbly, enthusiastic, driven, and well-organized.
