Overview

Leading independent events business seeks a highly ambitious, results driven Sponsorship Sales Manager to join their team, working across the flagship and highly lucrative portfolio focused on empowering females into leadership roles across corporate businesses. The client hosts industry-leading conferences in the UK and internationally. The role combines new business development with management of key accounts, with responsibility for growing existing key accounts and cross-selling across the entire suite of events.

Location: Hybrid, Kent.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenues through the sale of sponsorship packages for a high-profile international event and across the full portfolio.
  • Develop new business while managing and growing key sponsor relationships.
  • Cross-sell into other conferences and events within the portfolio.
  • Build relationships with senior professionals in international corporate organisations.

Requirements

  • 2 years+ in event sponsorship sales
  • Ideally educated to degree level
  • Strong networking and relationship skills
  • Commercial outlook with excellent communication and writing skills
  • Hard-working, committed, and a team player
  • Interest in business and ability to learn new information
  • Proven ability to initiate new business with new clients and adapt to new products & services
