SQL Server DBA - SC Cleared

Responsibilities

• Performance tuning, query optimisation, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Query Store, Extended Events, and SQL Profiler
• Solid understanding of backup strategies, index maintenance, and DB integrity checks
• Experience with table compression and storage optimisation techniques
• Ability to generate and interpret database metrics and monitoring reports
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and maintenance tasks

Technology

MS SQL Server, Windows Server, Windows AD, Azure SQL DB.

Contract and Location

The role is based remotely and the contract is for 3 months initially, inside IR35.
