About The Role

Our Workflow Automation Team owns platform products that provide core orchestration and workflow capabilities for CrowdStrike’s Falcon Platform. This role is for an experienced backend microservices developer adept with cloud engineering principles. Your focus will be on performance, reliability and scalability to contribute to CrowdStrike’s platform.

What You'll Do

  • Help design, build, and maintain key backend services / orchestration layer used by other product groups and customers
  • Design and build highly scalable and resilient distributed systems
  • Work with technologies such as Apache Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis and more
  • Collaborate on cross-team platform-level initiatives and projects
  • Troubleshoot critical production issues and implement solutions

What You'll Need

  • Experience building event-based platforms at scale (processes over a trillion events per day)
  • Strong focus on performance, reliability and scalability of distributed systems
  • 6–10+ years of backend software experience with a SaaS delivery model
  • 4+ years of experience with event-driven, microservices-oriented architecture
  • Proficiency in Go, Scala, Java, Kotlin, or Node.js
  • Proven expertise in distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs
  • Production experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases

  • Open source contributions (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogs)
  • Master’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Golang experience
  • Prior cybersecurity experience
  • Experience building developer experience platforms
