Location
This is a fully remote role. However, occasional travel to client sites and to our European HQ office (Breukelen, The Netherlands) may be required, depending on the needs of the role.
Key Responsibilities

- Align with key business executives across Retailers, Distributors, and Grocers to educate and inform them of SPS solutions that address the primary business problems impacting their operations.
- Develop and execute sales strategies in a highly complex environment.
- Maintain focus on long-term goals and persevere through challenges.
- Understand core retail supply chain processes including order, inventory, and invoice management and how they impact customer experience.
- Manage ongoing relationships from initial contact through close and execution of programs, working with the broader account team to operationalize value and grow the business with Fortune 200 Retailers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, communicate key account information, and gain support to ensure customer success.
- Leverage SPS Community Services to address unrealized problems and mitigation activities.
- Develop new business opportunities even without a well-known brand.
- Assist with contract development and negotiations of terms.
- Create and deliver persuasive executive-level presentations that motivate clients to a purchase decision.
Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of successful sales experience generated by hunting/prospecting and selling complex services, technology, or software into new accounts at the C-suite level
- Proven experience in new territory development with a disciplined sales process and a hunter mentality
- Must be a sales hunter and a relationship builder to meet the demands of a long and complex sales cycle
- Proven success selling a new-to-market concept, acting as an evangelist for that solution
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Proven competence with Microsoft Office and a CRM, preferably Salesforce
Preferred Experience
- Previous Retail and SaaS sales experience, including selling into Tier 1/Tier 2 Retailers, Grocers, or Distributors at the C-suite across various business functions
