Role: Strategic Account Manager

SciNova are excited to be partnered alongside one our long standing partners who have developed pioneering technology to accelerate drug discovery and development. They are searching for an ambitious and driven Strategic Account Manager to scale their presence throughout Europe. You will be responsible for the full end-to-end sales process from lead generation and deal/licensing negotiations for their rapidly growing service business.
Our client is searching for someone with a unique blend of scientific expertise and commercial acumen, therefore it's essential that you possess in-depth knowledge in the field of Molecular Biology, Biochemistry etc.
Role responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the strategy for the European territory to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Own and develop the entire sales cycle for our clients service offering with a focus on building strategic accounts, identifying licensing potential and building strong relationships with KOL's.
- Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Provide product education and support to end-customers, ensuring a deep understanding of our clients technology and its unique value proposition.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technical operations and R&D to develop and implement effective commercial strategies.
- Utilise CRM systems and other tools to track sales activities, manage customer relationships, and generate accurate forecasts.
Role requirements:
- MSc or PhD in a scientific discipline - Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biology etc.
- Relevant industry experience generated within the Biotech or Biopharmaceutical field.
- Experience selling service-based solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to have technical discussions with scientific end-customers.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ambitious and results driven with a strategic mindset.
- Hands-on attitude where no task is too small.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
