The Role:
Reporting directly to the Creative Strategy Lead, the Strategist will lead the delivery of global proposals, working end-to-end as a core member of the Data & Strategy team to create marketing strategies for influencer, paid media, PR, creative, and partnership briefs.
Your role will help to deliver end-to-end, data-driven strategy proposals for our clients & potential clients. You’ll make strategic decisions, help create creative concepts, and weigh in on suggestions for influencers, working with the team to suggest KPI’s and deliverables aligned to the client's brief, on time and within budget.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead strategy on proposals, acting as a key strategic expert, and be a strategic support for other proposals or account-based strategy if necessary.
- Analyse proposal briefs to effectively outline and plan out responses that answer client requirements.
- Work with the Creative Strategy Lead and teams across the business to create a cohesive strategic plan that meets the goals and priorities outlined in the pitch brief.
- Work with other new business members to create a pitch proposal to meet the goals and priorities of the pitch brief – owning creation of the proposal deck from end to end.
- Take ownership of the calculation of expected deliverables and estimate marketing costs working with the projects team, based on the proposed strategy.
- Have a strong understanding of the latest creator platforms, primarily YouTube, Twitch, IG, and TikTok, with specific experience across mainstream gaming, and technology.
- Stay up to date with the latest marketing, social media and influencer marketing trends to ensure the company’s services remain competitive and innovative.
- Identify emerging platforms, innovations and influencer opportunities that can be integrated into proposals and pitches.
- Provide support to pitches, both remote (with webcam) and in person if necessary.
- Participate in relevant training sessions, workshops, or personal development courses to build your knowledge and professional skills.
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably required to support the team and ensure the smooth delivery of client services.
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in strategy roles.
- Have a background and/or strong understanding of gaming & tech.
- Have a strong understanding of the culture of influencers.
- Experienced in understanding and strategically analysing briefs, relying on instinct and industry knowledge.
- Have experience in creating strategic proposals in slideshow format, with an eye for proposal design.
- Must be a strong and succinct writer.
- Highly skilled in time management.
- Be comfortable leading pitches on camera. Have a remote work setting with minimal distractions.
- Be just as comfortable working independently as you are working with a team.
- Experienced with Microsoft 365 – Must have exceptional experience and ability with Powerpoint and/or Google Slides.
- Experience working within a marketing agency environment would be beneficial.
- Experienced with GWI or other data software, experience with CreatorIQ or other similar creator management software.
