A bit about the job:
We’re looking for a Strategy Lead to define and drive the 3–5 year strategic direction for our Enterprise Data Engineering (EDE) function.
You’ll lead investment planning, promote the adoption of emerging tools and services, and advocate for data-driven innovation across Aviva.
This role sits at the heart of our data transformation, working closely with architects, delivery teams, and senior leaders to make sure our data strategy aligns with business goals and market needs.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience in strategic planning within data, IT, or analytics functions
- Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and governance
- Proven ability to lead investment planning and track benefits realisation
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, metadata management, and modern analytics tooling (desirable)
What you’ll get for this role:
- Starting salary between £60,000 and £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
- Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
